Less theory, more doing. Build confidence through real-time role play, feedback, and shared reflection.
Yes, for BCBAs, 2 Supervision CEUs can be earned. While we strongly encourage and welcome participants in other fields (psychology, social work, education etc.) continuing education credits cannot be earned.
Not at all. While role play is an important part of the group, members are not required to participate right away. You’re welcome to attend, observe, and simply notice what comes up for you during the process. There is plenty of value watching, reflecting, and learning in that way.
You may also find yourself contributing in other ways—such as sharing observations, offering reflections, or giving supportive feedback to others.
While role play helps support the group as a whole, but not everyone will actively participate each session. You’re invited to return, get a feel for the space, and step in when it feels right for you.
This group is designed for clinicians who have a basic understanding of ACT and want to deepen their ability to use it in real sessions. It’s a good fit if you’re open to experiential learning, willing to practice, and interested in growing your flexibility—not just your knowledge. Whether you're a BCBA, BCaBA or work as a direct care provider in the field, (or related) this course can be great for you!
You don’t need to be an expert. As long as you have some foundational exposure to ACT concepts, you’ll be able to engage with the material. The focus is on practicing and building skill over time—not getting everything “right.”
Groups will include a brief teaching component, followed by a larger portion of time spent in role play and experiential practice.
You’ll have opportunities to practice both therapist and client roles, receive feedback, and reflect on your experience in a supportive group setting.
1. Participants will accurately identify and apply the six core processes of ACT during role play scenarios to increase psychological flexibility in themselves and their clients.
2. Participants will demonstrate how ACT strategies can be aligned with functional analysis and behavior-change principles, ensuring interventions remain conceptually consistent with ABA.
3. Participants will give feedback to their peers by providing at least two constructive feedback points during peer coaching exercises and collaboratively refine ACT-based interventions with group members.
I am a board certified and licensed Behavior Analyst whose passion lies in supporting adults, children and parents. I incorporate mindfulness, nature, values and evidenced based practices into my work to help my clients reach their full potential. I love nothing more than connecting with my clients on a deep level. As an individual with ADHD, I strive to provide the type of support to my clients that I so badly wished for throughout life. I believe each individual is unique and deserves special care and attention to live their best life. I have an immense passion for practicing ACT and empowering clinicians and life long learners with the tools to both practice and integrate ACT into their lives. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling the world and going on long hikes in the mountains.
I am a board certified and licensed Behavior Analyst in Arizona with over 10 years of experience in the field. My work is grounded and I have a strong passion for parent training, Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), and the reduction of challenging and interfering behaviors. I am deeply committed to ongoing professional growth, continuously refining my own ACT skills while supporting the development of my team as a partner with individuals and families affected by disabilities. I am particularly enthusiastic about mentoring and educating fellow clinicians with ACT and Relational Frame Theory (RFT), empowering them to apply these approaches in ways that best align their clinical interest and practice settings. Outside of her professional I enjoy yoga and am currently working towards my yoga teacher certification. I also loves traveling and exploring new and novel places.

Knowledge is powerful. If you ever attempted to work on yourself by getting help and the "help" left you feeling like you're still stuck in the same spot with nothing but some expensive nice sounding words; get this course. The very first few lesson with Allie, did more work for me than months of other services I've tried. Nothing resonated with me as much as ACT. I went into this experience hoping to help my work and instead found ways to improve every area in my life.
